GOD KNOWS ALL......

BUT GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING. It been said that "anyone can count the seeds in one apple, but only God can count the apples in one seed." He can see through an apple, He can also see through us!

I may not remember much about my long life and even be puzzled about what makes me tick, but God knows and understands all. In the opening verses of Psalm139 we are instructed about God's omniscience or His all-knowingness. The Psalmist says: "You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord, You know it all" (Psalm 139:2-4).

God knowing all about us is at once comforting but also serves to discourage evil. A farmer whose corn crop hadn't done well, decided to "borrow" from his prosperous neighbor's field. With a large sack tucked under his arm and his small son dogging his footsteps, he hurried to a distant corner of the field. On arrival he peered cautiously to the left, to the right, ahead and behind, to make sure he was not observed.

Just as he reached out his hand to pluck the first ear of corn, his little boy spoke: "Daddy," he reminded, "you didn't look up."
